Why or how did you get into construction? Why or how did you get into construction?
During my senior year of High School, I took a unique class called HomeBASE that combined US government, senior composition, and construction technology. The construction portion of the course included working on-site to help build a house with Habitat for Humanity. When I learned about the Construction System Management program at OSU, it was a no brainer, and I started down my path into the industry.

What is the best part of your job?
I enjoy how the construction industry always brings new challenges and creates new opportunities with each project to bid and build. There is never a dull moment, and you're never working on the same thing from month-to-month, and project-to-project.

What project are you most proud?
The Wells Barn at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.

What's the most interesting place you've traveled?
Right after graduating from High School, my brother and I loaded up a 4-cylinder Toyota Corolla with a car-top carrier and took a 2-week road trip out West to Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. We saw breathtakingly stunning parts of the country as we visited National Parks and camped in a tent.

What are some of your hobbies?
I've always enjoyed hockey since I was a kid, but now my kids have brought me into the world of monster trucks. I know more about monster trucks and drivers than anyone should know! LOL!

What's something you've always wanted to do?
Visit Hawaii and Switzerland.
