The Toledo and Ohio Central Train Depot is a nationally recognized historic building, making preserving the historic integrity the main priority while revitalizing the space with new amenities and updated systems to support the facility as meeting space and a union hall.
We began the project with complete interior demolition of the long-abandoned building, leaving only the shell. The project renovated the 10,000 SF train depot and constructed a 5,000 SF addition onto the existing building. We connected the existing building to the addition by using as many original materials found in the basement. This kept the historical qualities intact.
