Miles-McClellan Construction and M-M Masonry Honored at the 2026 Building Columbus Awards

Miles-McClellan Construction and its masonry division, M-M Masonry, have both earned top honors at Columbus Business First’s 2026 Building Columbus Awards. Established to recognize regional excellence in design, development, and community impact, the program selected Miles-McClellan for Excellence in General Contracting and M-M Masonry for Excellence in Subcontracting.

Miles-McClellan was recognized for its leadership as Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) on the new Nationwide Children’s Hospital Close to Home Center in Grove City. Representing the firm’s first ground-up facility for Nationwide Children’s, the $12.95 million fast-track healthcare project was delivered under budget and three weeks ahead of schedule. The team’s focus on transparency, elite craftsmanship, and active pre-construction collaboration earned top marks from the client, paving the way for an ongoing partnership and a newly awarded $8 million Lab Services Renovation on the hospital’s main campus.

M-M Masonry was honored for its specialized craftsmanship on the Mount Carmel Health System hospital in Dublin. Overcoming demanding winter conditions and shifting schedules, crews installed 110,000 Norman-size bricks and over 10,000 square feet of custom stone veneer. Their work produced intricate stepped brick patterns and sweeping radiused stonework at the main entrance, creating a striking exterior facade engineered to serve Central Ohio for decades.

Both teams were celebrated alongside fellow honorees at the Hilton Downtown Columbus ahead of Columbus Business First’s special Building Columbus feature. Together, these awards underscore the organization’s commitment to client trust, exceptional quality, and impactful community development.
