There is a Better Way
Both of our founders, Terry McClellan and Lonnie Miles, left a large, international construction company because they believed there was a better way to deliver construction services. Many firms forget that construction is a service business and in larger companies bureaucracy tends to gets in the way of relationships. Both Terry and Lonnie felt that a major piece of the process was missing — customer service. In 1978, Terry founded McClellan Construction and in 1980 Lonnie started Concept Construction Company. Both focused on providing construction services while exceeding client expectations better than large, national firms.
In 1980, Terry and Lonnie merged companies to form the firm you know today, Miles-McClellan Construction Co., Inc. Exceeding client expectations is the foundation upon which this company stands. The direction of our company, decisions made by our leadership, and overall project strategies are based on this foundation of exceeding expectations.
