The Results

The Toledo and Ohio Central Train Depot is a nationally recognized historic building, making preserving the historic integrity the main priority while revitalizing the space with new amenities and updated systems to support the facility as meeting space and a union hall.

We began the project with complete interior demolition of the long-abandoned building, leaving only the shell. The project renovated the 10,000 SF train depot and constructed a 5,000 SF addition onto the existing building.  We connected the existing building to the addition by using many original materials found in the basement. This kept the historical qualities intact.
